It’s based on Zeni Carter, a girl who is doing her work experience at Magnolia Gardens Care Home. There she meets Alice who is an ex-Selfridges shopgirl, Frankie an ex-jazz musician, Mr Wilson a retired barrister and Joe a boy her age who’s also on work experience.
