Fenella Minella is a little girl who lives in a village with her parents, who have a not very successful antiques shop. Sometimes she plays alone or with her cat smudge, sometimes with her best friend Polly Kettle. In each of these 6 stories there is a touch of magic – when the tooth fairy leaves her a pearl, or when she twirls round and round like the little ballerina on the musical box, and finds she has shrunk to the same size.
