Description

The amusing tale of a boy growing up in post war Manchester. His sadness at losing a dear friend through cold and hunger, of a domineering mother who used her son as a Bookie’s runner and a father who had little time for anything apart from work, sleep and the “Ale House”. It tells of the fun had by the “Back-Entry Gang” playing out many comic episodes where the creative mind was put to work, often with disastrous results!
